Update Week Ending 11/25/2023

Today is Saturday, November, 25. Monday, November 27 is the Jain New Year. A day celebrated on the first day after the month of Kartika, a national holiday of India. Thursday, November 30 is the St. Andrew’s Feast Day. Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland, Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Barbados, and Romania. This day honors him, his good works, and his canonization in the Catholic Church. Friday is Worlds AIDs Day. This day highlights the importance of HIV/AIDs awareness and raises money for its cure.

Quote of the Week:

Rush, born November 23, 1946, politician, founder of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party, and pastor. He currently serves as the US Representative for Illinois’s 1st congressional district.
