Good day!
We are taking a different approach to the Weekly Sharing, starting today. We will be issuing the sharing each Saturday. Rather than embedding all the information in the e-mail we will place a link to the week’s page in the e-mail. If you want an item included in the week’s sharing we need to have it by noon Friday. Please send items to “tcmitch1951@gmail.com”. Please place “Weekly Sharing” in the subject line. Thank you!
This week ahead, Sunday, January 22 is celebrated as the Lunar New Year. Friday, January 27 is the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of Victims of the Holocaust.
Quote of the Week:
“….to be Black in America is to almost never be treated like an individual. The individual of African descent is not seen. The Black race is seen in the individual. All Black women are seen in the woman. All Black men are seen in the man.” Ibram X. Kendi Four Hundred Souls
