Update Week Ending 4/29/2023

Today is Saturday April 29. Starting Monday, May 1 we recognize Asian American and Pacific Island Heritage month. It commemorates people with Asian and Pacifice ancestry and their contribution to the Unitied States. May is also Jewish American Heritage month honoring American Jews and their contributions to the United States throughout history. Monday, May 1 is also Beltane, a festival honoring life in the Pagan and Wiccan religions. It represents the peak of Spring and the beginning of Summer. Thursday, May 4 is the inaugural National Black Authors Day (see below for details).
