Today is Saturday, March 15. Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar is being observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community through Sunday, March 30th. March is Women’s History month, an annual observance to highlight the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. Today, Saturday, March 15 is the Hindu festival Shri Ramakrishna Jayanti. Celebrated annually, commenorates the birth anniversary of Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, a revered 19th-century Hindu mystic and guru, known for his teachings on universal harmony and devotion.  Wednesday, March 19 through Thursday, March 20 is Naw-Ruz, the Bahá’í New Year.
