Update Week Ending 10/14/2023

Today is Saturday, October 14. This day, Pitru Paksha, a period starting September 29, when members of the Hindu faith pay homage to their ancestors, ends.

With the recent Hamas attack on Israel and the Israeli response to that attack, we would like to remind our participants and friends of the following:

“Exploring Racism Groups exists to promote racial justice.  The Mideast for centuries has been plagued by multilateral racial hatred, and has once again erupted in warfare, destroying lives of innocent people on all sides.  We simply urge a cessation of violence and advocate for a focus on intentional efforts toward lasting solutions.”

Quote of the Week:

“The dictates of humanity came in oppostion to the law of the land, and we ignored the law” Levi Coffin, American Abolitionist. Considered founder of the Underground Railroad. October 28, 1798 – September 16, 1877.
