Awareness to Action:
A Leadership Seminar on Racism
In this program you will:
- Begin to learn the history of Rochester’s segregation and
discrimination practices - Unpack the dynamics of systemic racism and how it shows
up in personal and professional spaces - Reflect on the ways racism may be affecting you, your team,
and your organization - Hear from other leaders of diverse backgrounds what they’ve
found helpful – and what hasn’t worked - Identify steps you can take to become a more effective
leader or influencer - Access resources for continued learning and growth.
The session will be held at the Rochester Regional Transit Servicer (RTS) headquarters, 1372 East Main Street, Rochester, NY 14609. Free parking is provided in the lot on the east side of the building.
