Tomorrow evening (December 18) Hanukkah begins and the Festival of Lights continues through the evening of December 26. “Chag Sameach!”, Happy Holiday!
There will be a gathering in front of Brighton Town Hall on the second night of Hanukkah, Monday, Dec. 19, at 5:15 pm to “shine a light on antisemitism” but also to celebrate the Festival of Lights. See the attachment.
Kwanzaa, the celebration that honors African heritage in African-American culture begins Monday, December 26 and ends on Sunday, January 1. “Heri za Kwanzaa!”, Sending warm wishes for a joyful Kwanzaa! There is general information on Kwanzaa provided below.
