Update Week of 11/06/2022

1. 220 ERG participants/alumni attended the Robin D’Angelo/Nanette Massey; “Real Talk About Racism” program this afternoon, 2:00 – 3:30 PM at the First Unitarian Church at 220 South Winton Road. Thank you to Butler/Till, Fred Beer, Episcopal Senior Community, Five Star Bank, Gorbel, Home Leasing, LaBella, Rochester Area Community Foundation, Tompkins Bank and U.S. Ceiling for making this program possible.

2. Plan to attend the Rochester City School District’s Racial Equity Advocacy Leadership (REAL) team program regarding the importance of a common anti-racist language in education and beyond. The program is November 17, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Central Church of Christ, 101 South Plymouth Ave. See the attached flyer for more information. 

3. Save the date for Action for a Better Communities’ “Signature Event” (Virtual) Thursday, January 16 and 19 plus in-person Awards Breakfast, January 26. See attached flyer. More information will follow.

4. We have begun the recruitment process for the January 2023 ERG Cohorts. Do you have someone in mind that you would recommend for this program?
