Update Week Ending 5/27/2023

Today is Saturday May 27. Shavuot the Jewish holiday that celebrates the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai and a grain harvest ends today. Sunday is Christian celebration of Pentecost, it commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ. Monday is Memorial Day, the day we remember and honor those who lost their lives while defending our country. Wednesday completes May and Asian American and Pacific Island Heritage month and Jewish American Heritage month honoring their contributions to the United States throughout history. Thursday is June 1, the start of Caribbean American Heritage month and LGBTQIA+ Pride month.
