Update Week Ending 03/22/2025

Today is Saturday, March 22. Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar is being observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community from the evening of Friday, February 28 through the evening of Saturday, March 29th. March is Women’s History month, an annual observance to highlight the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. Tuesday, March 25 is Feast of the Annunciation, a Catholic celebration of the announcement made by the angel Gabriel to Mary that she would become the mother of Jesus, Son of God. At sunset on Saturday, March 29 the Islam faith celebrates Eid al-Fitr the breaking of the fast, Ramadan.
