Baden Street Settlement seeks to improve the quality of life of adults, children, and families of neighborhood residents; to pursue the elimination of the causes of poverty; and to reduce the level of negative social problems associated with being poor and disadvantaged. The Agency works in cooperative, collaborative, and supportive spirit with concerned agencies in the community to meet the needs of neighborhood residents.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PROFILE
The Executive Director will:
- establish vision and direction-setting; and
- ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability; and
- build and lead the organizational executive team; and
- guide program design and deployment; and
- continue to develop external relations and coalitions; and
- work with the Board of Directors to develop an overall sustainable model for the Agency.
The successful candidate will bring a variety of experiences, including:
- experience as a chief executive and/or other senior level role; and
- a successful fundraising track record; and
- a proven record of working with community leaders at all levels both public and private sector.
The successful candidate must also have:
- a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred); and
- at least five years of leadership and management experience in a not-for-profit, for-profit or government executive management experience; and
- experience in the development and implementation of human service programs, program evaluation and advocacy, public education, fiscal management, and strategic planning; and
- excellent organizational and communications skills, fundraising development, and government/community relations experience.
